One type of card that doesn't seem to get sent very much these days is the Get Well Card
It's the type of card that doesn't get sent when the recipient has a cold but rather after a long illness, hospital stay or surgery.
Very often this type of card is paired with flowers or ballons and given in person.
When the Get Well Card is sent via snail mail it conveys that the sender is thinking and wishing
for a full and speedy recovery.
I have found most store bought Get Well cards to be funny. Who wouldn't want to laugh after feeling so sick
There are no jokes that come with my handmade Get Well cards .
I try to create a peaceful card and it's up to you to write what on your heart.
I always have some of these types of cards available when at a craft fair but I have found that
not too many people buy them. However I try to include a Get Well card in my surprise bag listing
in my Etsy shop along with an assortment of other types of cards.
Only one person in my notecards subscription box group requested this type of card regularly.
So the next time a family member or friend is batteling a serious illness or surgery,consider sending them a Get Well card.
