This is my first blog post. I'm not going to give you a list of materials followed by instructions on how to create a card. NO! My blog will be my thoughts about art, life and correspondence .
Drawing and any form of creativity is my air, my food, my drug of choice. It was and still is my passion and my life. Every day I must find time to draw even if it was just to doddle.
I am not an expert on art. In fact I have really never studied art with the exception of an art history class I took many years ago as well as an adult watercolor class about 2 years later. But just because I never studied art in college does not mean that my talent for creating is any less. I believe that I would have been exposed to more art forms that would have helped me unleash this energy I have over flowing inside of me.
I often wonder what my life would have been like had I pursued art. What would have been the forms of art that I would have mastered.
It is what it is! Instead of looking back and wondering what if, I want to look ahead and say "I'm ready and here I come."
I spent a life time living my life raising children, earning a living, being a wife just like the rest of the world. Inside of me there was a earning to get back to what I loved the most which was to draw, color and play just like I did when I was a child.
I decided not to linit my art to a canvas or an art journal but to create mini forms of art in the form of notecards, greeting cards and stationery sets.
So here I am! I have lived more years than I have left and I am determined to make the love of art and creating Mynotecards a central part of my life.
I believe in the power of handmade creations and the joy they bring to both the creator and the receiver.
With my passion for art, I ensure that each card is a labor of love, resulting in a high-quality, exclusive piece that will make your loved ones feel cherished and appreciated.
A handmade card or hand written note is note just a piece of paper; it's a memory,an object of deep sentimental value.
A tangible handwritten note can create a memory and remains behind long after we are gone
Art is the music of my heart. It is a song that plays within me. The melody that I play is not heard by one’s ears but rather seen with one’s eyes. My art is the song of my heart, a tune whose notes only I can hear in the stillness of the night and in the midst of the day’s chaos.
Come with me on this journey.
Come with me on this journey.
